In 2005, The Keune Foundation was founded with the purpose of extending financial support to Australian families undergoing both financial and emotional strain due to their child diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.

Numerous Australian families encounter heightened emotional and financial challenges when a child is diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. The journey of medical treatments and recovery is frequently prolonged and stressful. In many cases, families find themselves compelled to take extended, unpaid leave as they strive to offer essential support and care to their child throughout this challenging period.

TKF believes that each family situation varies and therefore, does not dictate how families should use their financial support as it will benefit each of them positively in different ways. The Keune Foundation’s mission is to provide support to Australia’s families
